I first met Ruben when he was my manager in a large AOD rehabilitation centre. I quickly realised that as a leader, Rubens priority was to be supportive & caring, having a people focused mindset - & empowering people to work to a high standard. Under Rubens leadership, I was able to start to grow and learn to be confident in the workplace - Something I had not experienced in the working world before.

As a Neurodivergent person, I was still hesitant that he may not understand the challenges that I faced - But Ruben took the time to learn all my traits, and tailors each session in a supportive way – taking the time to ensure I am able to understand and be confident in what we are working on.
We have been working together for 1 year. We have worked on my goals towards growing my confidence, in finding my voice, upskilling myself professionally through his guidance and support and growing towards becoming a confident and competent professional and person overall.

Windana ResetLife Team - Group Clinical Supervision
Ruben provides Group Supervision to Windana’s ResetLife, Day Hab program. The clinicians receiving supervision say, although it’s a group supervision, it also feels like an individual supervision, being inclusive and supportive of everyone. The supervision feels open, with opportunities to bring dilemmas we need support with. I enjoy being able to present a client and topic and how Ruben keeps us to topic and guides us through. Ruben’s approach is validating and warm, whilst using humour to keep things lighter.
